LT ELECTRIC INC.
The original LT Electric logo had the right idea, but it relied on decorative elements that didn’t strengthen the core identity.
The thunderbolt was a smart starting point. It clearly represents electricity. However, its angle and proportions made the mark feel slightly playful and less professional than what an electrical company should communicate. For a trade built on reliability and precision, the identity needed to feel stable, sharp, and confident.
I redesigned the bolt with cleaner geometry and stronger balance to shift the tone from casual to professional. Then I looked for a way to connect the symbol directly to the company name. By adjusting and separating portions of the bolt, the shape subtly forms the letters “L” and “T.” This hidden structure adds memorability without complicating the design.
The final result is a simplified, scalable mark that communicates electricity instantly while reinforcing the company’s initials. Every change was made to increase clarity, professionalism, and long-term usability.
